Dan Howarth

Dan Howarth is a writer and editor from the North of England. His fiction has been published in numerous places online and in print. Most notably his stories have been downloaded over 100,000 times at The Other Stories podcast. His debut collection Dark Missives was released in April 2021, followed the novella Territory in 2022.

Dan has co-edited three themed anthologies with James Everington, The Hyde Hotel, Imposter Syndrome and Pareidolia. In 2018, Imposter Syndrome was shortlisted for the British Fantasy Award for Best Anthology. It didn’t win and torpedoed this bio…

When he isn’t writing dark fiction, Dan enjoys rain, pies and ranting about the British government like some sort of deranged Mancunian braveheart.
